aw i used to love jacqueline wilson books too - but as a northerner i was always slightly annoyed by how posh every character was.
Haha! I felt the same way! I’m Australian but I always found the characters incredibly posh, even the disadvantaged ones. I think when I was little I picked up a lot of english terms from the books that people here haven’t used in years, they’ve stuck in my vocab too!

i remember reading the one about the twins, and i was like, ”i can’t relate to this at all!” ‘cause they were so different from one another and one of them was really controlling. just made me sad every time i read it, haha! i was a sensitive child
